"So, like a forgotten fire, a childhood can always flare up again within us." - Gaston Bachelard

The swing swung sleepily as the dusk air pushed past it.  The Girl sat gingerly down upon it and recalled a time not so long ago when she, with great intensity, pumped her legs back and forth concentrating fiercely on reaching the heavens.  The sky, after all, was limitless.  And who doesn't want to be suspended among the stars?  The Girl pushed away the ground from underneath her and began swinging back and forth.  Maybe now that she was older, maybe now that her legs were longer, she would actually make it to the moon.  If only she could get a push.

Artists Jeff Ryan and Barbara Edelman are fine art printmakers who work from the studio next to their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jeff and Barbara use materials that have a low impact on the environment, and hope that each piece will have a high impact on the human spirit. Each miniature lithograph is hand-inked and hand-cranked through an antique printing press, then coated with an epoxy resin coating.
